My husband is so funny I tell ya..I'm sitting here in the office, typing away and giggling non-stop after he rang to relate a funny incident this morning.
He was washing his car at a multi-storey carpark nearby our home when a postman from SingPost came up to him and asked if he lives at blk xxx, unit no. xx-xxx. So hubby said yes and the guy told him he had just delivered a package and it's now sitting outside our door. Wan of course was utterly shocked and confused, like how the hell this postman knows where to find him and even knows his exact home address?? Because this multi-storey carpark he was at is a street away from our block.
The postman then explained that while waiting outside our door, a bangla had come up to him and said he saw the owner of this house washing his car at the multi-storey carpark.. whoa!!!! :O .. LOL! Now, who is this bangla and how did he recognise Wan?
LOL!!
Anyway this is not the 1st such things happen to my dear husband. A couple of times when we were outside, someone guy walked up to him and said "eh how are you?! long time no see!' or something to that effect and then they exchanged pleasantries. As soon as that fella walked away, Wan will turn to me looking all clueless.. "who the hell was THAT??" LOL!! Of course on some lucky days, Wan actually sort-of remember the fella, just can't put a name to the face. Usually he'll succeed after racking his brains for a good 10 mins.
My reasoning for all this?
While I wouldn't say my hubby has that very friendly look plastered on his face, he is generally a jolly good fellow. (..yes, a stark contrast to moi!) Once he starts talking, u know he's no threat (I know the pic up there doesn't look any less threatening..hah!) and ppl tend to have a liking for him and remembers him fondly. Either that or his memory is slooowly failing him.
The bangla? Aiyah fatal attraction I think! :D
