I'm back at work today. No more fever but not fully recovered yet. Thot of seeing doctor again to extend MC and medications (like seriously I finished all the meds, now relying on panadols..) but I'm so behind with work. There's stacks of papers and unopened letters on my desk, which I'm trying to ignore for the moment. I've yet to close last month's a/cs and I'm still preparing for the year-end stocktake next week. Auditor has been bugging via emails since noon. Then there's audit mid Sep and I can't take leave in Sep either coz boss expecting baby anytime and I have to cover duty. Thank God for the extended Hari Raya holiday this year. So yeah, very very busy. And when I'm at my busiest, I will get tons of cake orders. Salah timing as always.
Anyway, I just wanna write sthg here so that you won't think Makcik K has kidnapped me or sthg.
Today's 3rd day of Ramadhan and I love the fasting mth. Besides getting to lose a few inches and leaving work an hour earlier (boss actually offered me to go off 2 hrs earlier tapi mcm too much pulak kan..), there's lots of good food to share with family and frens and it feels different… peaceful and yet nostalgic, sthg like that. Here's wishing ya'll a good and blessed fasting month. May this Ramadhan gives us all the opportunity to a better person and a better Muslim. Amin!
It is a great month, a noble season, a month in which hasanaat (rewards for good deeds) are multiplied and in which committing sayi’aat (bad deeds) is more serious than at other times. The gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are shut, and the sinners’ repentance to Allah is accepted. It is a month whose beginning is mercy, its middle is forgiveness and its end is redemption from the Fire.
So give thanks to Him for the season of goodness and blessing that He hasbestowed upon you, and for the means of bounty and various kinds of great blessings for which He has singled you out. Make the most of this blessed time by filling it with acts of worship and forsaking haraam things, so that you mayattain a good life in this world and happiness after death.
