The unpredictable weather here in Singapore had me thinking. Yup, something definitely is not right about having downpours during the hot crispy month of March. I know about global warming & stuff but I've never given any real thoughts about it before.Yesterday, being typical Sunday, where all the easily accessible parking lots nearer to our lift have been taken up by national library visitors, we had no choice but to park slightly further away. At the carpark of the opposite flat, Blk 124. As I was alighting, I stared at 124's void deck and then suddenly blurted out to Wan.. "I want to recycle! I drank lots of Coke Zero everyday and then just throw away the empty bottles. I want to recycle them.."
HE LAUGHED AND MOCKED ME.
Nice..
Anyway I googled online today, and true enough my instincts were correct. There IS a recycling bin at Blk 124! How convenient! I'm gonna start today and dispose all those bottles and papers I kept in the office ( I'm a messy person..) into the bin. My contribution may be small, but hey it's MY way of helping the environment.
Here's a list of other places in Singapore where you can find more recycling bins --> http://www.nea.gov.sg/cms/rcd/locations/map.html
