It's a Wrap!

At this very instance, I'm feeling a bit emotional. And you'll never guess why...

No. Go on. Try.

OK?

Braced yourself...

... My favourite drama series, The O.C., just said it's final goodbyes..

:(

Hey, I love The O.C., more than the slutty interns of Seattle Grace or the kepo neighbours of Wisteria Lane. This is the teenage drama series that's worth every seconds watching, with real social issues happening out there. About kids coming from broken homes, lack of love and abandoned by their own troubled parents and worst, messing with the wrong crowd.

So at least, knowing it had a good ending was really heart-warming (and that I din waste 5 years of my life watching it). Ryan Atwood the main character, was the abandoned Chino kid, rescued and adopted by the Cohens and eventually made it in life as an architect after much hell trying to fit into Newport's high society.

It's kinda sad you see, coz I 1st got hooked to The O.C. during my poly days (2003) and I've seen the characters evolved and matured over the years. I sang the California theme song in showers and even fantasized about Sandy Cohen when I'm out on dates with my boyfriend. What? It's true.

I wanted to marry a Sandy Cohen. He was THE perfect husband. THE perfect father. He's loyal, caring, romantic, charasmatic, humourous and confident. And there's something about a man who can command public attention without appearing cocky at all, that totally turns me on.

I know, I've got my own Sandy Cohen now. A much younger and erm, slightly different version :)

OK let me end here with some memorable qoutes from The O.C.

"Let me tell you something. Having a dream doesn't make you smart. Knowing it won't come true... that does." - Ryan Atwood

“Put myself in your shoes? I gotta wife in rehab who doesn’t want to come home, and a kid who’s locked up for something he didn’t do. Your shoes are looking pretty good to me right now.” - Sandy Cohen

Hope there'll be another great drama series airing soon. Sorry, what's that? Gossip Girl?!

Bluergh!!
