Killer Waves

The more i watch ChannelNewsAsia to keep abreast with the latest news on the tsunami disaster, the more disturb i am seeing all those gruelling images of dead bodies piling up. Today being the 3rd day since the disaster struck, had seen a risen amt in death toll as dead bodies started to emerge from the waters. The death toll now is said to be 57,000.

For u blokes who are newspaper-phobic or just loathe watching, hearing or smelling the news, .. AN EARTHQUAKE MEASURING A MAGNITUDE OF 9 ON THE RITCHER SCALE (.. which is a huge earthquake btw, u dumbass..) TRIGGER MASSIVE TSUNAMIS IN 6 COUNTRIES ACROSS SOUTHEAST-ASIA . There you go.

Liana, being liana, as usual, had some signs. About 3 weeks ago, i had a horrfying dream, twice in the same week to be exact, that s'pore was hit by an earthquake. *touch wood*But fortunately, this tiny speck of dust on the map is strategically sheltered by Sumatra.

I'm very much saddened over this unfateful tragedy. What really saddens me most is the fact that those affected are poor villagers, especially in India and Aceh, who lost everything.. family members killed, homes and cars being washed away.

But what doesn't saddened me was Phuket turning into a fried rice paradise. The beach was in a total mess and it was reported that 70% of the victims in Phuket are foreigners. And since i'm in an evil mood today, i would like to dedicate this Alicia Keys' song to Thaksin Shinawatra *sings* "What goes around, comes around. What goes up, must come down. It's call Karma baby.."

Well, nih baru sipi-sipi saje. If He says Kunfayakun, then that's it man..
