Starting of a Family : 6th Month - Babymoon

It's customary for us to go on a holiday at least once a year. And this year unfortunately since baby is coming in Oct10 (and we'll be occupied thereafter) and the 1st half of the year was basically spent with my head in the toilet bowl, planning for a holiday was a tad difficult.

And on top of that, pregnancy comes with lots of restrictions:

1. no air travel to far2 away destinations coz this being our 1st baby, should an emergency crop up, we'll prolly pee in our pants

2. no long travelling coz I can't hold my bladder.

3. no activities like jetskiing, sauna, no walking on the beach at night..

So based on the criterias above, we shortlisted a couple of places and opted for a relaxing weekend getaway to Avillion Resort Desaru.

I'm simply in awe with this resort! It has such a heyuge compound and very, very clean (u'll always see staff cleaning/sweeping) everywhere u go. The pet farm is so clean and hygenic (I've been to resorts where the animals in the farm looked like they were starved to death and living in a dump). There's beautiful peacocks freely roaming around. The staff never fail to greet u everytime u walked pass. Our room is excellent and of course, the cream of the crop has to be their Avi Spa. A glass house smack in the middle of the sea. It really feels like Sentosa's Beaufort but better and cheaper (we paid S$400 for a 2 days stay + spa). Here, see for yourself..
