Starting of a Family - 3rd Month Updates

Yay, we've hit 10 weeks.. good job Peanut!

I can't wait to see Peanut in 3 weeks' time. Yes such a long wait but that's the earliest appointment we could get. Really hoping we could see the gender by then.

Updates.. hmm, my tummy has grown! Of course ppl around me didn't notice. They think im fatter and nobody dares to even ask coz that would be just rruuuude.. Haha. But at 9 weeks, I cant button my jeans and needed the support of a bella band. By 10 weeks, I could only zip halfway. Lol. I'm starting to shop for online maternity clothes. Old Navy and Gap has really nice clothes in my size with reasonable prices. Just recently they had a 20% discount on all maternity and I went on an online spree!

Morning sickness has eased down a LIL BIT. Peanut gives me 1 day per week rest from all the vomitting. Otherwise, it's still e same crappy 24hrs sickness. But I can't complain, really. I take it that all the vomitting is Peanut giving me a sign that he/shes growing well. :) But I wish 2nd tri comes soon, honestly I've yet to enjoy this pregnancy.

Cravings.. nothing in particular. Whatever i've eaten has lots of hits n missed, not very satisfying. Until yesterday when I finally hit the nail. I was watching Anthony Bourdain eating grilled steak burger and suddenly I was hit by this sudden hunger pang so I ransacked my freezer and there were still a couple of (illegal) burger ramly patties left. So I made myself a burger with lots of sweet chili and thousand island dressing and oh my, it was THE best thing I had since I found out I was pregnant!

I was raving to Wan later over the phone how good it felt and he was like, huh..that's all u wanted?? lol. To think Wan went all lengths to buy me nice food. Oh, my dear dear hubby bought a B&J Cookie Dough tub for me this morning!!

Anyway I'm mostly craving for sweet things. Fruits, ice-cream and my saviour.. preserved orange peel which I survived on at work. And strangely being a chili padi queen, I can't stomach spicy food! It gave me bad indigestion and bloating. So for the time being I'm sticking to mild food like soups, alfredo pasta, porridge. And I can't take salty stuff either like potato chips or anything with soya sauce.. it gives me immense headache.. So cerewet la this Peanut!
