It's been so long since we last had a proper date. Probably way, waaay before the wedding, before we both got caught up in the stressful preparations. And after the wedding, we were always busy, always had somewhere to be, something to do.. sembah-sembah, attending/shopping for weddings, birthdays, getaways, family gatherings, frens gatherings etc, etc, etc but never time alone together doing nothing important in particular. Particularly on a Saturday night.
Dinner at Riverwalk Tandoori, followed by a stroll down Clarke Quay & stopping by the reverse bungy for a little scare (watching others doing it..), an almost mid-night movie @ the newly-opened Kallang Leisure Park (with a lil help of caffeine) and finally, late-night shopping at Mustafa before he sent me (& himself) home.
Well, it certainly felt nice. For old-times' sake. But somehow, these days, I'd rather stay at home in my crumpy t-shirt, watching the latest movies online, in the comfort of my smelly armchair, over a bowl of tom-yam mee.. ah, heaven.
