You've Got Mail!

I just got back my wedding invitation cards 2 days ago from the printer and I was ecstatic to see mine & wan’s names printed on it! Haha it’s funny how something of very little importance to me (I really dun gif a damn about wedding cards coz u know where they are gonna end up.. ya, in rubbish bins) suddenly got me all excited! It’s nothing fancy. Just simple, straightforward and informative and err, cheap (spent like only $0.50 per card on printing cost and cards were given free by hotel). But it’s just how I wanted it to be! No grand, lawa nak mampos wedding cards, no-no. Coz I learned that your guests will come to your wedding expecting a ceremony as grand as your cards.. haha, no thanks. Too much pressure.

I designed the artwork myself but seeing it in print is sooo real. It’s like we’re finally making it official to everybody. And it tickles me when I recalled the printer guy's kind advice, "You getting married huh? Eh, think twice ok!" haha.. Anyway, he did a pretty good job (& very efficient too!) and I can’t stop smiling reading my card over & over again. So frens, check your mailboxes soon ok!
