.. no, I’m not dead yet. Altho', I almost kicked the bucket 2 weeks ago when the deadly flu bug hit me hard. I swear to God, it was THE worst flu I’ve ever had. Imagine having the normal fever, phlegm, cold, cough & nauseating – times 10! The usual antibiotics the GP prescribed didn’t even work!
So there I was paralaysed in bed for 4 days before I threw in the white flag and dragged my sorry ass to the hospital. But luckily the doc cancelled out any possibility of dengue and sent me home with some super miracle pills that totally knocked me out. The following days were sooo weird, with me floating in and out of sleep, not recognizing day or nite, losing track of time & date.
Now, I’m feeling much better and I’m back running around like a mad woman, with a thousand and one people chasing after me. Man, I feel so exhausted. Here I am sorting out other people’s lives and yet mine remains unsorted. And the most anticipated month is just around the corner.
June’s the time to register for ROM, attend pre-marriage course, buy kain from Arab St, source for bridesmaid’s dress, source for tailor etc, etc, etc.. Aiyoh, pening kepala aku. Of course, initially I was super excited to get married. Now, I just want to get it done & over with. Seriously, if I had the money I would engage a wedding planner. Actually better still, if I had MY way, I would just nikah and fly off to a month long honeymoon. That’ll be so cool..
