My very first minicakes creation! hehe. (Picture taken immediately after an overly excited Liana finished decorating the last piece, hence some wet patches still noticable on cake surfaces.)
The ugly brown cake with pink polka dots was the 1st one I baked. Sadly, the surface turned out very bumpy and uneven. The 2nd is the one decorated with red heart shapes sequins. Slightly better surface this time. 3rd is the best of the lot..
The turquoise gift box. Mom went absolutely gaga over it! By then, I managed to perfect my techniques, so surface appears much, much smoother. Next is the one with elaborated ribbon. Took me an hour just to make the ribbon! I almost went mental and it's still senget! Last is the main-campak-atas strawberry cake. Actually, it's not even strawberry. (Where to find such cute strawberry to place on top of an equally cute cake?) It's a combination of raspberry and mint leaves.
OK, I'm going to work on my decorating techniques over the weekend. Will post more pics next week!
