The Long (Week)Entry

This past week has been such a wreck. Me slowly recovering from my bout of flu and phlegm with a huge Taleban bomb news dropped splat on my head amidst the company annual stocktake season and Miss Red Flag suddenly making a comeback after disappearing for a month. I was forever hungry, sleepy and tired and my back's killing me. Luckily my trusted Ben & Jerry was constantly by my side, keeping me alive thruout the week. Cherios Ah Ben~

Enuf of suffering. I'm determined to go out and enjoy my weekend. So met the gerls around noon yesterday and we took the train down to the expo. Just wanna take a quick peek at the wedding exhibition and was so glad I went. Rima Melati was in this incredibly stunning outfit dat just made me go gaga. SO pweeeettttyyyy like a doll~~ Her makeup was puuurrfect and her hairdo, very simple and elegant. Exactly what I've been dreaming of wearing for the dinner. But then again like my mom said,"Orang kalau lawa, pakai ape pon lawa" Dunno whether I can carry it off like she did. Hmmm.. Shall see, shall see..

And coincidently, there was a Halal food exhibition going on and since Urvi's been craving for briyani, we bought one plate of chicken briyani and sat down in the middle of a crowd of makcik-makciks which turned out to be a Syarahan or in the words of Urvi, "Shah Rukh Khan" tittled Teenagers and Sex.

Later, took a cab to Tampines and hopped onto the shuttle bus to Hafidzah's favourite place on earth. IKEA! I've got a $50 Ikea voucher dat's expiring soon and mom's been making a lot of noise. Can you imagine being FORCED to shop at Ikea? Hahah.. We shopped quite a bit for chopping boards, storage boxes, plates and bowls... eh? We've already become tai-tais ah?

But the voucher sure came in handy for Eddie's bday :p Hehehe.. We managed to pick out something arty farty for him from the many2 household items there.


..nipped some scotch tapes from Ikea, paste em to this bottle so dat we could wrap Eddie's present *cough* cheapskates*cough*


..Since we can't make it to his bday party, we celebrated on his behalf over a delish ice-cream brownie.. Heh

Come 5pm, rushed home to refreshned up and changed. Wan picked me up at 6pm, made me change my attire THREE times before he said, "Ahhhh.. dat's more like it"

Swing by YanJing's place to drop Eddie's present and I was late(Obviously, after changing 3 outfits) for the surprise thingy, so bday boy was already there when I came but he was still surprised nonetheless by my presence :) Hope you like the gift dude!

Accompanied Wan to Cheng San CC for awhile. Afterwhich, we managed to catch the Wayans' movie, Little Man. So dirty but damn hilarious la. I was laughing my heart out. And to end the day...
