The world greets the new year in a sombre mood.
2005 is definitely a wake up call for the world community at large as we witnessed the horrific tsunami taking away more than 130,000 lives. And as u are reading this blog, probably the numbers haf risen.
Even the heavens understood our feelings as 2004 ended with a heavy downpour.
yeah, what a crappy way to usher in the new year. But of coz, that doesn't deter
some crazy Singaporeans to party at the Sentosa Countdown in bikinis on a cold, rainy night.
For me, 2004 hasn't exactly been a good year either. Too many downs than ups. If there is a Most Depressing Year award, then 2004 it is. Go back and read my archives if u dun believe me.
Watever it is, lets's hope for the best this year.
My new year resolution?.. is to achieve my last year's new year resolution...
.. get a driving license
.. lose another 10kg
.. get my Degree with Distinction
.. be more religious
.. open a Save-As-You-Earn account (... it's time to give my wallet a rest..)
.. get back my social life (.. like as if i had one in the 1st place..)
