met urvi in e evening at City Hall, supposedly to check out Esplanade & then eat satay at this new outdoor eating place under One Fullerton.. yah, Esplanade has been alive for 2 yrs already, & us blokes haf not even been there. Coincidentally, we bumped into faeizah & helmi at city hall & ask em to join us.. Well good, coz they were acting like our tour guides ard esplanade. But among e 4 of us, u can tell who r e artistic ones. Faeizah & helmi were looking all enthusiastic & picking up brochures, while me & urvi still lost in our own world. Nuthing much lah in there, we felt like we r e tiny ants wandering inside this huge durian.
Laterz, we made our way to One Fullerton but faeizah said e food not dat nice, so we walked to Lau Pa Sat instead. Had satay & lots of noodles~lish dishes.. mee goreng, mee phad thai, hor fun. They sure got interesting menu. There were "lalas" & "gong-gongs".. hehe. Actually, i ate gong-gong b4.. just snails, well, e malay version of escargo :P but lalas.. dunno wat lah. As usual, we were gossipping abt our ex-TK schoolmates..who now doing wat, who's married, who's pregnant.. & urvi then remembered this ugly looking chinese boy from her class & kept repeating.. " If u look at him hard enuf, u will see a pig!" .. & i went " If u look at urvi hard enuf, u will see a.. kwong, kwong, kwong.." hehe, jus joking lar babe~
After dinner faeizah & helmi went home while me & urvi hang ard. We tot of relaxing our butts at Fullerton hotel.. but we didn't stay there long. After looking thru their expensive menu, we decided to leave. Pity e waitresses who came to us twice to take our order. oklah, at least now we noe wat fullerton looks like from e inside although e furthest we got, was reading e menu :P We then walked to Starbucks in raffles.. Damn! after walking so long & sweating like a pig..Starbucks was abt to close. We decided to call it a day & hail for a cab.. must haf been almost an hr but can't get one. The puzzling thing was, there were lots of empty cabs but ALL were on call.. we had no choice but to take e mrt home. *sigh* tink e waitress at Fullerton must haf cursed us! hmm..i didn't bring along my digi cam so no pictorial evidence to show u ppl. I wasn't in e mood to take pics anyway. I was feeling very uncomfortable..hot & sweaty. Wats wif e weather these few days.. scorching hot & no rain. outside, e air was so still.. even e leaves on e trees weren't moving!
