Did u guys watch Ms S'pore Universe over e wkend? I only caught e last bit where they announced e winner. Gawd..is s'pore lacking of beautiful gerls? Did u see e winner? Her looks was...errmm.. I tink i'm much prettier than her ..hahaha. Seriously lah, i noe for sure there's lots of beautiful, smart gerls out there. I tink e govt better do sthg than just encouraging couples to get married & haf babies.. Make sure those pretty, smart women marry good looking, intelligent men & produce more babies dat cld be truly labelled as S'pore's Beauty Queens & save s'pore fr wasting money & embarrasment having to send gerls to compete overseas in e future. On sun, Vasantham Central was having their own beauty pagent. & some of e gerls were REALLY beautiful. Maybe they dun feel comfortable having to wear bikinis to join Ms S'pore Universe.. but wat a pity, they can't understand e qns given to em, even more so to reply back in Tamil. They were speaking in english all e way. Some viewers sms during e show saying dat it's a disgrace that indian gerls can't speak their own language. If Suria hosts this kind of pagent & e gerls speak in english, it will be such an embarrassment.
ok,. back to the Ms S'pore Universe. I dun even noe whether to applaud em for strutting their stuff in bikinis in front of millions of viewers. Like wat my bf used to say .. " ngok dorang pon takde nafsu " hehhe .. meaning looking at em in bikinis doesn't even arouse e men... i tink u noe wat i mean :P & if they are not pretty but at least smart, they are still forgivable .. like nuraliza osman.. but the gerls this year really brings out e bimbos in em.. In 8 Days last wk, e contestants were asked who is Wong Kan Seng. The funniest ans was.. "Is he a celebrity from Taiwan ?" hahha .. OMG dun these gerls ever watch e news on tv or read newspapers? That apek is S'pore's Minister of Home Affairs!! Starting fr nx year, they shld judge e gerls base ONLY on looks & catwalk.. like e show Are You Hot. It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubts!!
