i was already hungry by 10.30 am coz haven't had breakfast. So i tot maybe i wanna buy some 'light food" like curry puffs at e aljunied industrial canteen. When i came, e food was just prepared, piping hot... n my "light food" turns out to be mee goreng wif chicken wings..."light food".. yeah rite! :P Then i had lunch at City Industrial building.

I went back in time, back to e 70's. Time seemed to haf stood still at City Industrial's canteen. I tot the canteen at Aljunied Industrial was old enuf... this is even more nostalgic. Big round tables wif plastic chairs, small blue tiles on e wall. It seemed like nuthing there has changed over e internet era. Actually e kakak working next door recomended me to eat there coz apparently e nasi padang there is much nicer than e one at aljunied industrial canteen. True enuf, it was much nicer.. hot n tasty. It costs me $3.50 for a plate of nasi padang. Although their customers are only e workers ard that industrial area, i believe they earn a lot. Such an antique place, i'm sure e rent is extremely cheap. N by 3 pm, e stall holders would already start packing.

Went to visit grandma at TTSH after work n i ate again at Novena Square KFC.. wat e hell is wrong wif me?! eat non-stop.. worse.. eat without any sense of guilt! ..EEeeeks~ oklah...maybe i fast tmr. Mak looks ok.. she's not complaining abt e pain anymore & she's off e drip. Just chat a bit wif her. Too bad she can't eat, if not i'll bring fruits for her. TTSH hasn't changed much. e last time i went there was 3 years ago, way b4 e sars incident. TTSH was like my 2nd home. At that time, Mak was somewat 'possesed' but doc jus say her brain a bit 'shorting'. I had to take care of her at nite in case she start spouting nonsense or wander into e toilet n play wif water again. My shift started from 10 pm. I slept by her side, get her bathed in e morning b4 i head home. N i always had sandwich from seven11 downstairs n also hot choco from Starbucks... like a routine for a few days.. i'll neva forget TTSH
