Reality TV
I was supposed to be studying for MA but just can't resist e temptation coz last nite there were lots of great reality shows on tv. I kept switching channels bet TCS 5 n Channel i. TCS 5 was showing AMI at 10pm, followed by Trista n Ryan's Wedding at 10.30pm. Channel i was showing For Love or Money at 10pm.
AMI is great n Simon made it great. Randy n Paula are too nice wif e comments. Simon, he's too honest. haha But i always agree wif e comments he make. Its just that he put it too harshly. So harsh that all e contestants wld pee in their pants when it comes to his turn to judge em. But somehow Simon sets e bar to e competition. The contestants noe they haf to meet that certain level set by Simon. That makes e competition challenging n improves e quality as well. But Simon is so harsh it seems that he's not happy wif everything n everyone...hehhe... Ryan was saying last nite " Simon is a living proof that money doesn't buy happiness." hhaha
Trista n Ryan's Wedding was... erm... draggy... e couple read so many poems n notes at e altar n poured sand into a glass together to signify their unity ..phuff~ :P Crappp.. wait 10 yrs down e road... 'till death do us part' wld no longer exist... it's becoming a cliche.
For Love or Money was showing e last episode. Rob had to pick bet e young, gullible n naive girl, Paige, or e charming n beautiful one, Erin. Ok, here's how it goes. After many rounds of elimination, Rob will finally haf to pick 1 girl but there's a catch. The girl can choose either Rob or a million bucks. Paige was irritatingly stupid... i guess love made her so. She so badly want to be wif Rob she kept repeating 'it neva came across my mind that i actually want e money.. it feels so wrong' :P Bleagh.. Gawd, she's so insecure. Erin on e other hand wants e money. Smarrrt gerrrl! If it was me, I'll take e money. Yah, u can always work for money & true love comes only once in a lifetime...( i didn't say dis, some other ppl did) But I believe in fate. If u r fated to be wif someone, no matter wat he will come to u. So i would take e money n if its fated that i'll marry Rob someday, someway or another in e future, he will come looking for me :D ... i noe~ i sound like a gold digger rite??? haha. The show ends wif a twist. All along both girls, felt that Rob will pick Paige..coz even Rob feel that Paige will neva choose e money over him. But being vain n utterly stupid, he wants e beautiful Erin. AND Erin played him out by choosing e money instead of him. HAH!~ You go gerl! However Erin decided to join e nx season wif 15 men chasing after her n winning 2 million bucks if she manage to make tt man fall for her. I tink she can do it.. Good Luck gerl!
Entertainment nowadays are getting cheaper by e day. Any tom, dick or harry can be a star overnite if u r willing to embarras yrself on tv. Just look at William Hung. I kept watching his audition video coz its damn farnie! but i can't understand why ppl go ga-ga over him n even ask him to sing again. He's not even cute, just dorky!
